WHAT ARE THE COSMIC TRANSITS?
In Astrology we have to study and understand the meaning of the actors (Planets), the meaning of the stage where they play (Houses) and their way of expressing, how they act (Signs).
The cosmic actors, the Planets, and the Sun and the Moon (the two luminars in our heaven), move in a dance that creates specific geometries and energetic connections around us.
Your birth chart is a flash of the specific cosmic Time (position of sun, moon and planets) of your birth in that specific place in which you are born, but the dance of the Planets go on.
With modern softwares we can even represent the graphs of the orbits of the different planets around the Earth: they express their own rythm and beauty. In the past, astronomist were already able to draw these shapes, following the regularity of the movement of the 7 main planets in the night sky.
WHY WE STUDY TRANSITS IN ASTROLOGY: CAN WE KNOW OUR FUTURE?
The study of Transits allows us to be aware of existential challenges and periods of profound crisis and transformation. By knowing the energies arising in our lives, we can understand life-process, we can choose and act with peace and detachment, and therefore we are able to remain pure Witnesses of the energetic movements inside and outside of us, without identification.
The study of Transits is very long, and it requires math and deep calculation. Many astrologers do it with the help of softwares, but I prefer to do calculation by my own with Ephemeris lists.
